Vivo has just launched a new phone called the Vivo V40 SE 4G in the Czech Republic. This is the latest addition to the V40 family, which already includes several other models with 5G. Unlike its siblings, the V40 SE 4G doesn’t have 5G internet.
However, it still packs some decent features. The phone has a beautiful screen super fast 120 hz refresh rate, making everything look smooth. The Vivo V40 SE 4G smartphone is a lightweight and thin device that weighs only 186 grams and is 7.79 mm thick. The phone also comes in a Vegan leather back but the weight slightly goes up to 191 grams because of the leather finish at the back.
The phone comes with a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and a 120-hertz refresh rate with a peak brightness of 1800 nits. In security terms, the phone supports an in-display fingerprint scanner with other security options like face unlock as well.
The Vivo V40 SE 4G is powered by a Snapdragon 685 chipset with 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage variants. The battery, on the other hand, is 5000mAh, supporting up to 80W fast charging. Other key features include up to 8GB virtual RAM support, a microSD card slot, and FunTouch OS 14 on top of Android 14.
On the Camera front, the Vivo V40 SE 4G has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. It has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel bokeh camera, and a flicker sensor on the back. Other features in the device include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, 2.4GHz–5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB-C port. It also has IP54-rated water resistance.

The Vivo V40 SE 4G is now available in the Czech Republic at 4,999 CZK (~₹16,000 or $215). Available in two color options Crystal Black and Leather Purple.
